What we do with your personal data, which is less than you might expect, and how to make us stop.

Almost nothing. There is no analytics on this site, no advertising or tracking pixel, and no account to create. One cookie is set, NEXT_LOCALE, and all it holds is whether you are reading in English or Spanish. It carries no identifier, it is not shared with anyone, and it cannot be used to follow you. The staff area at /admin sets a session cookie for whoever signs in there. Those two are the only cookies this site issues.
The booking form does not send anything to us on its own. It composes a message and opens WhatsApp with it; nothing leaves your device until you press send there.
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and for keeping the site up.
To take a booking: your name, the way you contacted us, your dates and how many of you there are. To check you in: your identity document, your nationality and your date of birth, because the law requires us to register guests.
We use it to hold and honour your reservation, to charge you, to comply with the registration and immigration reporting Colombian law imposes on accommodation, and to answer you when you write.
We do not sell it, and we do not use it to market to you unless you have asked us to.
Our property management system, which holds the reservation. WhatsApp, if that is how you contacted us. The card processor, if you pay by card. The authorities, where the law requires the report.
Under Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1074 de 2015 you may know what we hold about you, have it corrected or updated, ask what it is used for, ask for proof that you authorised it, and revoke that authorisation or ask us to delete the data — except where a legal or contractual duty means we have to keep it.

If we get it wrong, you may complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
As long as the purpose it was collected for lasts, and after that only as long as accounting, tax and tourism-registration law requires us to.
This is an 18-and-over property, so we do not knowingly collect the personal data of children.
